Your heritage… pass it on!
Australian Heritage Week runs from Saturday 16 April to Sunday 24 April. It is an annual event for Australians to join together and celebrate our unique and special heritage. All communities are encouraged to get involved by hosting a variety of activities to feature your local heritage to our nation.
Heritage focuses on the places and stories that make Australia unique. It includes natural habitats, Indigenous heritage and diverse historic sites that collectively reflect Australia’s growth.
World Heritage Day is held every year on 18 April. It offers an opportunity to raise awareness about the diversity of the world’s heritage, its vulnerability and conservation efforts.
