Healthy people, successful economy
The first H20 International Health Summit takes place in Melbourne on 13 and 14 November 2014. It is hosted by the World Medical Association (WMA), AMA Victoria and AMA Federal. Doctors across Australia, from every craft group and career level, are encouraged to come along and contribute to the discussions.
This Summit will be an opportunity for medical professionals from Australia and around the world to come together and put the spotlight on health issues prior to the G20 Leaders’ Summit being held in Brisbane on 15 November.
The summit will address:
- Health as a wise investment
- The burden of non-communicable diseases
- Social determinants of health
- Health effects of climate change and how to tackle these.
