The Australian people have had their say and elected the Coalition Government at the 2013 Federal Election.
Tony Abbott prepares to be sworn in as 28th Prime Minister of Australia. Despite comfortably winning the lower house, he will face a number of challenges with minor political parties due to hold the balance of power in the Senate.
Kevin Rudd has stepped down as leader of the Australian Labor Party.
