Australia’s ageing workforce
The second Annual National Ageing Workforce Forum takes place from 30 August to 1 September 2016 in Sydney. The focus will be on how to gain strategic advantage through older workers.
Keynotes, case studies and workshops will focus on Australia’s ageing workforce landscape, how to foster an inclusive workforce culture and attract older workers, how to embed a framework of knowledge sharing between younger and older workers, how to create a positive and inclusive organisation culture, and how to address unconscious and conscious bias. You’ll hear about strategies to optimise older workers through effective engagement, ways to approach ‘difficult’ conversations, as well as succession planning and knowledge transfer.
Speakers include Marlene Krasovitsky, Director Australian Human Rights Commission; Philip Taylor, Director, Productive Ageing Centre National Seniors Australia; Eugene McGarrell, General Manager Health and Community Engagement Insurance and Care NSW; Jenny Lambert, Director of Employment, Education and Training Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Lachlan Clyne, Mayor City of Unley; Ainslie van Onselen, Director of Women’s Markets, Inclusion and Diversity at Westpac and more.
